The Octomore Edition: 13.1 opens the 13 series of Bruichladdich. Here, too, the manufacturer remains true to itself, straightforward and yet complex. It matures for five years in first-fill American whiskey casks, the storage is 100% on the island of Islay. Only Concerto barley, harvested in 2015 on the Scottish mainland, is used for production. The barley was peated with 137.3 ppm. The bottling is done at cask strength, without cold filtration as well as dye.
